Musa scores brace for CSKA, Ujah on song

The duo of Ahmed Musa and Anthony Ujah were on song for their respective clubs over the weekend as CSKA Moscow climbed back to fourth, just above their city rivals Dynamo Moscow in the Russian league

CSKA were undoubtedly the better side as they crushed Rostov 6-0 on Sunday. Musa’s goals came in the 52nd and 59th minutes in the one-sided game.
The goals were the first for the former Kano Pillars striker this season.
Ujah also got his first goal of the season in the 2-0 win over VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
The 23-year-old Ujah scored the second goal for Cologne in the 33rd minute.
The victory took Cologne to fourth in the log with four points from two matches.
Sylvester Igboun and Ebere Onuachu put up a spectacular show on Sunday as they helped FC Midtjyland overcome Esbjerg 2-0 in the Danish Superliga, but they both were booked for rough tackles in both halves of the game. The two goals were scored by Jim Larsen and Marco Larsen. Rilwan Hassan and Izunna Uzochukwu also played in the game, while Musefiu Ashiru was on the bench.
Osaze Odemwingie and Victor Moses were impressive for Stoke on Saturday as the Potter got a rare win against Manchester City at the Etihad.
Moses, on loan from Chelsea, was making his debut for the Potters, playing 80 minutes of the game, while Odemwingie came on as a substitute.
The former West Brom striker, however, had a short time to play as he was stretchered off the pitch.
He came down awkwardly after launching a cross just after the hour mark, buckling his knee. He was later replaced by Charlie Adam.
Odemwingie later wrote on his Twitter timeline, “Going back home normally with a goal at the Etihad would have been good but with 3 points on top is fantastic! Good way to bounce back!”
Stoke City have yet to say if the injury is enough to rule the striker out of their next match against Leicester City on Saturday.
